Government Confiscation - This is a very real threat in our industry. Some Scrap Dragon customers have had their computer systems confiscated by the police with absolutely no prior warning and very little, if any, probable cause (that's what they told us).
Employee error - They say "to err is human" but you need a computer to really mess things up. We have seen inadvertent data loss caused by innocent employee errors and even tech support mistakes.
Maliciousness and vandalism - A disgruntled employee can do extensive damage to a computer system, including loss of data.
