Gemalto with USB error in Device Manager

Had a lot of trouble getting a Gemalto to work at a new yard with a new computer yesterday.
Gemalto has blue light as if it was working but in device manager it had a USB error. Seemed like it was finicky with the USB or power coming from USB. I ended up unplugging everything else from the USB except the Gemalto and then reinstalling the driver and it worked. Plugged everything back in and the Gemalto stayed working even after a reboot. Looks like there was some kind of power draw from other USB devices or the driver wasn't installing properly with them plugged in. The other USB devices were the fingerprint reader, TSP800 printer and Sig pad. They also had another printer plugged in. All was connected directly to PC not any hub. This is just an FYI in case anybody ever has a Gemalto that doesn't set up properly.

We noticed the same on two Gemaltos at CMC yesterday. Unplugging everything and plugging in the Gemalto first fixed the issue but without reinstalling the driver or rebooting the computer before trying to re scan. SD was closed and reopened after plugging in the gemalto first and they seem to still be working this morning. If anyone else tries this and it works, note it here so we can verify this as a fix.
The other issues were when the Gemalto was not plugged directly into the computer usb port. These were through un-powered usb hubs and some other wild situations. I believe everyone knows about that but we should always check if someone calls in with scanning issues.

The rear usb ports on desktops usually push more power to devices than the front ports.
