Installing a Desko Icon Passport Snapshell Scanner P5

Instructions for installing the P5 scanner in Scrap Dragon Classic only,  It is currently unsupported in SDX.

The installation is straight forward.  Login as an administrator.  Install the latest Acuant SDK and make sure to check the boxes for both the Desko Icon Scanner and the Twain Scanner with Activation Code.  When you are finished you will be prompted for the activation code which should have been provided in an e-mail from Acuant, on the Acuant invoice or can be obtained from Acuant support. 

In Scrap Dragon, back office, maintenance, setup, local computer options, peripherals tab choose the OCR scanner, save and log out.  Login again and on the same tab in local options choose reverse H&W, default to United States, the customer's State and auto detect state, then Save.  There is nothing to calibrate as this is the equivalent of the snapshell camera.
