Below is a little bit more information about the web based add-on to Scrap Dragon Xtreme called the Scrap Dragon Portal.

There is no new hardware required, no app to download, and will work on any device with a web browser (tablets, phones, etc.).

For just $150 per month you can take advantage of the following powerful tools with as many internal/external users and devices per scrap yard location: 
  • Mobile Greeter - Start tickets to keep your inbound line moving.
  • Inspector - See held tickets, add deductions, hard to reach photos, and add VINs.
  • Buyer - Do all the necessary steps to create and pay tickets while away from a stationary workstation.
  • Shipper - Search held and closed shipments to add export container images & create packing lists.
  • Management Reports and Scoreboard - Get a quick and easy real-time view of your purchases and sales for any day by supplier or by commodity
  • Dispatch Driver - See assigned trips, complete tasks, driving directions, and more.
  • External Customer Portal - Suppliers and consumers can see their transactions and images online.
There are just a few a few steps required to get the Scrap Dragon Portal installed on your end:

Please first reach out to Scrap Dragon Support (1-855-937-2466) to confirm that you are on the latest release of Scrap Dragon Xtreme.

Next, you will need to set a Static IP for your network. Your internet service provider can assign you one if you don't already have a Static IP. Please let us know that Static IP address after completed.

Lastly on your router or firewall we need port 50002 (Scrap Dragon connection) and port 3332 (JPEGger connection) forwarded to the Scrap Dragon/JPEGger server IP address. For further security the Scrap Dragon Portal will come in from two IP addresses if you want restrict access: 71.41.52.50 and 173.227.154.147

Once setup you will be able to add a link on the homepage of your device (or business webpage) so your users can login: https://portal.scrapdragon.com/login?account=xxxxx (xxxxx will be your five digit Scrap Dragon Portal account number)
